Our study of Perseverance in Unit Three is almost over. We are wrapping up this unit by writing a paper comparing two characters from novels we have read this year. In addition, students are studying the life of Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan. Students will be performing scenes from
The Miracle Worker for their class next week.
Science Fiction will be our next focus. We will do a brief author study of Ray Bradbury and then move into literature circles. Students picked their novels for the literature circles at the beginning of 3rd quarter and have been anxiously awaiting to get started reading them.
